Welcome to Hands On Piano.
I’m Robyn Wilson, a qualified and experienced piano and theory of music teacher based in Innaloo, Perth, Western Australia. With over 26 years of teaching experience, I help students of all ages build confident musicianship through clear foundations, strong reading skills, and a love of music.
I’m a Teaching Member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association (WAMTA) and hold a CTMusA qualification and Working With Children Check. Whether learning for enjoyment, preparing for AMEB or AGMS exams, my lessons are adapted to your pace, interests, and goals.
I offer private lessons from my home studio in Innaloo, conveniently located for for students from nearby suburbs including Scarborough, Doubleview, Osborne Park, and Stirling.
What I Offer
Tailored, Professional Piano Teaching in Innaloo
Structured lessons, exam success, and a love of music. All in a friendly, supportive studio environment.
I offer friendly, confidence-building lessons for adult beginners or adults returning after a long break. Adult students can also participate in AGMS, which offer a clear structure and ongoing motivation to support continued learning.
I offer fun, structured, age-appropriate lessons that build a strong musical foundation for both children and teenagers. Children and teenagers can choose to play purely for fun or opt for exam based lessons.
I include theory, aural training, and sight-reading in lessons to help you grow as a well-rounded musician — whether you’re preparing for exams or playing for pleasure. Exams offered through AMEB are: Comprehensive, Piano For Leisure, Repertoire Only, Rockschool, Theory.
